Two of the travel offerings are a 7-day Luxury Getaway in La Punta, Mexico, in a fully staffed villa suitable for five couples and includng a private chef, housekeepers and a house manager, starting bid $8,000; and several of HWA’s Humane Journeys such as its trip to Romania, participating in veterinary outreach and animal welfare initiatives that directly impact communities and companion animals while also taking in historic castles, charming villages and meaningful opportunities to support animals in need. Held at the iconic Cipriani 42nd Street on Nov. 6, the evening will feature celebrity animal allies, inspiring stories, a gourmet plant-based dinner, musical entertainment by Vanessa Carlton and an after-party. The package includes accommodations at a 5-star hotel, VIP preferred seating for two, car service to and from the event, two VIP gift bags, listing in program insert and names added to the red carpet list. This year’s program will highlight HWA’s efforts to replace animal testing with innovative methods that benefit both animals and people. Starting bid is $750.
