AUCTION FOR ANIMAL WELFARE

Now through Sept. 27, you can contribute to Humane World for Animals’ lifesaving work and score some pretty great items like travel packages, food, wine, pet products and shelter dog toys through HWA’s annual Auction for Animals. It’s a great way to support animal welfare and get something for yourself, loved ones or animals

Two of the travel offerings are a 7-day Luxury Getaway in La Punta, Mexico, in a fully staffed villa suitable for five couples and includng a private chef, housekeepers and a house manager, starting bid $8,000; and several of HWA’s Humane Journeys such as its trip to Romania, participating in veterinary outreach and animal welfare initiatives that directly impact communities and companion animals while also taking in historic castles, charming villages and meaningful opportunities to support animals in need. Starting bid $8,500.

One of the special experiences is tickets to the VIP Humane World for Animals 2026 To the Rescue! New York Gala Package, celebrating global

progress in animal protection. Held at the iconic Cipriani 42nd Street on Nov. 6, the evening will feature celebrity animal allies, inspiring stories, a gourmet plant-based dinner, musical entertainment by Vanessa Carlton and an after-party. The package includes accommodations at a 5-star hotel, VIP preferred seating for two, car service to and from the event, two VIP gift bags, listing in program insert and names added to the red carpet list. This year’s program will highlight HWA’s efforts to replace animal testing with innovative methods that benefit both animals and people. Starting bid is $750.

If all of this is too rich for your wallet but you still want to suppoart a good cause, there are gift cards for $150 starting bids at upscale restaurants; a Cause for Paws jewelry set from London Jewelers (valued at $190 with a current bid of $150); weekend bag by ANDI with a bid starting at $120, a candle gift box with a current bid of $85, a Misty Mints Horse Treats bundle for $40; and a Fi Mini dog tracker with six-month membership starting at $30, to name but a few.
