Pickles & Paws is where pickle lovers and pet lovers unite for an unforgettable celebration of flavor, fun, and furry friends. Now in its second year, this one-of-a-kind event is in Southaven County Park on Long Island, N.Y. Attendees can meet and connect with dozens of adoptable animals from local shelters and rescues—and maybe even bring home a new best friend. There’s a doggie fashion show, puppy yoga and general fun for the four-footed, plus craftspeople,  a pickling contest, a whole Pickle Row, packed with pickle vendors and small-batch makers, plus food, live music and other family-friendly entertainment. Tickets are $20, children 2 and under free. Registration for puppy yoga is limited.  The fest runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and rain date is May 31.
