Whether this is your first holiday season after losing your pet, or it was many years ago, Best Friends Animal Society has a sweet and understanding way to help you through, with its virtual gathering:  Love Lives On: Navigating the Holidays While Honoring the Gifts of Precious Memories

The event is at noon on Nov. 9 on Zoom.

Love Lives On is hosted by  Patty Hegwood, Best Friends’ certified pet loss and grief companion,  and Coleen Ellis, founder of Two Hearts Pet Loss Center, who will share meaningful ways to navigate the holiday season, honor the pets we love and find gratitude in the lasting gifts our pets’ companionship has brought into our lives. Throughout the webinar, Patty and Coleen will offer insights and practical guidance and answer as many questions as possible received in the chat.

Best Friends Animal Society is also a sanctuary for homeless pets, including horses, donkeys, birds and more set on 2,000 acres in Bright Angel Canyon in Utah. Its strong leadership and membership have spearheaded the “no-kill” shelter movement for many years.

If you can’t attend the live event, you can still RSVP so you’ll receive a recording to watch when the time feels right for you. You’ll also receive a complimentary downloadable journal created by Coleen, featuring writing prompts and comforting reflections to guide you through your time of remembrance.

Best Friends also has online pet loss resources and pet memorial pages, where you can create a personalized, shareable webpage to honor the memory of a beloved companion.

And remember, this holiday season, and every single day, they are with you.
